RECIPES! VIDEOS! YAY!

If you watch food network, you'll like this.
If you need to get a recipe, you'll like this.

If you don't care about food...get high and look at this site! Pretty!

I will say that the recipe reviews are pretty useless. Users will give recipe high marks, then note how they changed pretty much everything about the recipe.

MUTHAFUCKA, THAT DOESN'T HELP ME! If I wanted your recipe, I'd go to your food blog. How dare you correct Alton Brown!!!

So all in all, it's helpful. It has pictures, a lot of how-tos from buying seasonally to properly preparing proteins for the oven, holiday themed menus- just use it.

I like the esthetic and it's very user friendly. As has been said, it's like fancy YouTube.

This is a decidedly tacky reason to dislike a site: I can't pull my videos.

I'm always trying to hunt down my own work footage, and sometimes people are rubbish at getting it to you. So when people post a video (without the ability to download it) on vimeo, my beautiful wondershare software is unable to download it.

For most of you, this is a probably a GREAT thing (I mean, videos shouldn't just be nabbed from the internet), but it's just a pain sometimes. However, the video quality is incredible, and for ones own personal use and upload, you really can't beat it.

Amazing leggings, swimsuits, and more!

I love this brand! It really is fantastic quality- I've had my Star Wars swimsuit for 4 years, and it is JUST beginning to show wear and tear. The color hasn't even faded like most suits!

Is it pricey? Yes. It's really hard to rationalize spending $90 on leggings. But then again, how many pairs of leggings have you owned that have lasted more than a year?

Lately some of the prints have been a bit too much for me (I'm more of a Hamlet legging/Galaxy print kinda gal), but the zany options are there to appeal to a wide variety of tastes.

...Except that horrible watermelon skirt. No one should wear that...ew.

All in all, the designs are amazing, the staff is super friendly (they send you a littler personalized note when they mail you stuff), and the material is built to last.

Okay, I know some people look down on Wix, but if you don't know coding well and you can't afford a web designer, I truly believe Wix can give you a polished looking project. It's web building for dummies.

Plus, for a few more bucks a month, you can pay to have their adds taken off. I HIGHLY recommend doing so otherwise it just looks like the site is all about Wix. Frankly, it just looks uber unprofessional and like you don't care about your business (or whatever you're promoting)

They're constantly adding new templates, adapting to new technology, and they have fantastic customer service.

Man oh man do I love this site.

Whenever I need to transfer headshots, film, or other huge files, I go here. Easy to use and FREE for 2GB?! Heck. Yes.

Cancelled my $10/month to Dropbox was I discovered WeTransfer because unlike Dropbox, I can send a filed to anyone, regardless if they've used the site before/have a subscription.

Really dig it.

Apartment hunting sucks, but PadMapper helps it suck less.

The site is simple: type in your credentials, and lil balloons will pop up on the map! It pulls renting information from different sites, so no need to go combing through as many sites to find what you're looking for.

MyFitness Pal is great in that you can track the nutritional value of food down to the amount of protein and fiber it contains. You can also track how many calories your burn from various exercises.

The downsides:
-The food is all put in from users, so the calories are all over the place.
-Apparently strength training burns no calories. WTF?!
-The online community is just awful. Thousands of uninformed people sharing fitness and diet advice they learned from pinterest, spouting horrifically unhealthy practices. Myfitness Pal can't help what people share, but jeeze, these people are morons.

All in all, I think it's helpful for people who are starting to get healthy, and to help them stay on track.

I started reading Ars Technica after leaving LifeHacker as I wasn't a fan of the re-design. I still find myself back every now and then, but Ars is one of my daily check-ups.

One of Ars' strengths is the seriously in-depth articles and reviews. The ridiculious but fascinating 40,00...

I think the site looks dull now. I hope it evolves into more modern design. And also consider user experience.

I heartily agree with the reviews on this podcast series left so far by other listeners. I've not yet listened to Mike Duncan's History of Rome podcast (though I'm now inspired to do so), but the History of Byzantium podcast is a tour de force from Robin. He has done a sterling and balanced job...

I have found the History of English podcast absolutely riveting; in fact, I 'binged- listened' my way through the first 100 or so episodes, and am very relieved that there are clearly many more to come :-). History via etymology - a great concept, well-delivered by Kevin. Highly recommended.

It's so amazing that we have the opportunity to listen to so many years of history is such a fine detail. It's a marvel of the modern world. Thanks for doing this, Robin!
