Activism , Education

Motivated by the belief that the power of community empowers the individual, and the growing acceptance of social entrepreneurship to successfully link business objectives with social change, we explored various models that could serve the needs of everyone, as such MyKomms was born.

We believe in a world where everyone can give and receive help through the power of community. Performing community service is a worthy endeavor that brings people and communities closer together and improves the wellness of those volunteering their time and effort.

Our website brings together volunteers that organize events and create community/groups in their neighborhoods and worldwide. The whole community benefits from the gifts of much needed help, emotional support, and peace of mind, while volunteers find meaning in giving back to those in need.

This website surprised me due to its variety of features and having a focus on improving communities. It took me a while to navigate the site due to its large number of features such as social media, free education courses, world issues, organizing events and

It's free university level course materials can be found in its "A World of Information" section. The education materials are informative but some courses are under construction and incomplete. Same for the world issues in the "A World of Solutions" section.

I think the website can improve by showing its main purpose clearly on its front page (like an introduction) so that people know what this website with very good intentions actually is.

I heartily agree with the reviews on this podcast series left so far by other listeners. I've not yet listened to Mike Duncan's History of Rome podcast (though I'm now inspired to do so), but the History of Byzantium podcast is a tour de force from Robin. He has done a sterling and balanced job...

I have found the History of English podcast absolutely riveting; in fact, I 'binged- listened' my way through the first 100 or so episodes, and am very relieved that there are clearly many more to come :-). History via etymology - a great concept, well-delivered by Kevin. Highly recommended.

It's so amazing that we have the opportunity to listen to so many years of history is such a fine detail. It's a marvel of the modern world. Thanks for doing this, Robin!
