As an Englishman I find the content not just incredibly interesting but also very fulfilling as I learn the historical origins of the words, grammar and syntax that I use - almost without thinking - every day. It's given me a real insight into my own culture and the way that I communicate with others.

Kevin has an amazing grasp of the subject matter - he even knows English regional dialects really well even though he's from the US! He breaks down what could be extremely dry and tedious subjects - if taught badly - into entertaining, bite-sized episodes along specific themes.

At the moment he has just finished looking at the influence of Viking settlements on Old English prior to the Norman conquest. I never knew that so much of the modern language was derived from these Old Norse influences. Really fascinating. Highly recommended.

I'm a cord cutter and love hulu. They do a great job of providing up to date programming for most shows and the service is quite reliable. Their original programming isn't quite as good as their competitors, but pretty darn close. My main gripes are, 1) No CBS of CW shows, so I have to use differ...

I have been a GQ magazine reader for years and their website has just as high quality as the print publication. Now, specifically, they are doing a great job covering the 2017 political climate in a fair and unbiased way.

Good follow up to the History of Rome. Clear Narrative, I like that he generally sticks to mid-length episodes, but alters the length when needed.
