Dinosaur Comics is a constrained webcomic by Canadian writer Ryan North. It is also known as "Qwantz", after the site's domain name, "qwantz.com". The first comic was posted on February 1, 2003, although there were earlier prototypes. Dinosaur Comics has also been printed in three collections and in a number of newspapers. The comic centers on three main characters, T-Rex, Utahraptor and Dromiceiomimus.

Comics are posted on most weekdays. Every strip uses the same artwork; only the dialogue changes from day to day. There are occasional deviations from this principle, including a number of episodic comics. Dinosaur Comics has been compared to David Lynch's The Angriest Dog in the World comic, and makes references to it. The strips take on a wide variety of topics, including ethical relativism, the nature of happiness, and the secret to being loved. North created the comic because it was something he'd "long wanted to do but couldnít figure out how to accomplish... [he doesn't] draw, so working in a visual medium like comics isnít the easiest thing to stumble into."

This comic is fascinating. Every one is exactly the same framing and images, they only change the dialogue. And yet, somehow, they manage to make it awesome and hilarious and original EVERY SINGLE TIME.

How do they do that? I don't know, but I'm going to keep reading, if only to see how long they can keep it up.

Strange decision to use Comic Sans as the font for the titles of the website headings.

I could not find a way to navigate away from the homepage to any deeper links with more information. One would expect that the left skyscraper section would be hotlinked to more examples.

Born as a clickbait, arbitrage website completely devoid of any substance or content - it somehow took that concept and made it worse.

A heavily biased so-called "news" resource - HuffPo is hypocritical in nearly every possible aspect. It preaches equality and diversity, and yet it's boardroom is nearly completely composed of white women. It claims to be strongly for diversity, and yet it practices no diversity of thought whatso...

Once one of my favorite sites to navigate, learn useless trivia, and waste hours on - Cracked has gradually descended into clickbait, heavy politicized liberal slam pieces, and generally has grown more and more akin to Buzzfeed in recent years.

The interesting thing is that althoug...
