The idea of PopChart started with a post-it note, three fighting boys and two frustrated parents. We started a point keeping system to reward good behavior but quickly found that it was unmanageable on simple post-it notes, especially when we are constantly on the go. I proposed the idea of making an app to my husband Sam, a Software Developer; and so PopChart was invented.

Using Sam’s technical skills, my art background and our combined knowledge of parenting three kiddos we are developing a modern solution to the old ways of charting chores, awarding good deeds and encouraging better behavior in kids. PopChart has been a game-changer for our family and has helped potty train our toddler when all other methods failed. PopChart makes our children excited to do their chores and to help out more overall. We are excited to share PopChart with other families.

Dear Travelzoo,

This is a love letter. Are you beautiful? Mmmm... you're pretty but let's not be hyperbolic and say you're gorgeous. I mean, you're definitely not fugly or anything! (4 stars!) You could try a little harder but we all know that it's what's on the inside that counts....

Such a fantastic podcast!
Duncan has a knack for narrative history, taking all the disparate stories and facts and weaving it all together into a story that's fun and engaging.
It's also very well researched.
Would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in history.

I think the site looks dull now. I hope it evolves into more modern design. And also consider user experience.

I heartily agree with the reviews on this podcast series left so far by other listeners. I've not yet listened to Mike Duncan's History of Rome podcast (though I'm now inspired to do so), but the History of Byzantium podcast is a tour de force from Robin. He has done a sterling and balanced job...

I have found the History of English podcast absolutely riveting; in fact, I 'binged- listened' my way through the first 100 or so episodes, and am very relieved that there are clearly many more to come :-). History via etymology - a great concept, well-delivered by Kevin. Highly recommended.
